Everything you need to know before your Galápagos cruise aboard Calipso.
How many passengers does Calipso carry?

Calipso accommodates up to 16 guests in 10 cabins distributed across the Main, Upper and Lower decks. Our crew of 9 plus a bilingual Naturalist Guide ensures personalised service throughout your journey.

Calipso is one of the few yachts in the Galápagos offering both naturalist cruises (4, 5 and 8-day itineraries) and an exclusive 8-day diving cruise reaching the remote Darwin and Wolf islands — a bucket-list dive destination for advanced divers.

The 8-day diving cruise visits the legendary Darwin’s Arch and Wolf Island — home to schools of hammerhead and Galápagos sharks, whale sharks (Jun–Nov), manta rays, sea lions and tropical fish. This is one of the world’s top dive destinations and only a handful of liveaboards can access it.

All meals and snacks, purified water/coffee/tea, daily guided excursions with a certified bilingual Naturalist Guide (or Dive Master on diving cruises), snorkeling equipment and wetsuits, airport transfers in the Galápagos, and the welcome cocktail.

Not included: international and domestic flights, Galápagos National Park entrance fee (USD 200), INGALA transit card (USD 20), alcoholic beverages, dive equipment rental (available on board), travel insurance, tips for the crew and guide, and personal expenses.

Year-round destination. Warm-wet season (December–May) brings calmer seas, clearer skies, and warmer water — ideal for snorkeling. Cool-dry season (June–November) offers richer marine life and whale-shark sightings at Darwin and Wolf for divers.

Valid passport (6+ months validity). No specific vaccines are required. Visitors must complete the Galápagos biosafety form before arrival and pay the National Park entrance fee on landing. For diving cruises, divers need a valid certification (PADI, SSI or equivalent) and recent logged dives.
