Common Questions

Most Popular Questions

Everything you need to know before your Galápagos cruise aboard Cormorant II.
How many passengers does Cormorant II carry?

Cormorant II accommodates up to 16 guests in 12 spacious suites distributed across the Main and Upper decks — one of the lowest guest-to-cabin ratios in the Galápagos, with 12 crew plus a Cruise Director and bilingual Naturalist Guide for personalised service.

We offer four options: two 8-day cruises (A and B, Saturday to Saturday) visiting different islands, a 5-day cruise (Saturday to Wednesday), and a 4-day cruise (Wednesday to Saturday). You can combine 4+5 days for a complete 8-day experience without repeating sites.

The price includes accommodation aboard Cormorant II, all meals and snacks, purified water/coffee/tea, daily guided excursions with a certified bilingual Naturalist Guide, snorkeling equipment and wetsuits, kayaks and paddle boards, airport transfers in the Galápagos, and the welcome cocktail.

Not included: international and domestic flights (Quito/Guayaquil – Galápagos), Galápagos National Park entrance fee (USD 200), INGALA transit card (USD 20), alcoholic beverages and soft drinks, travel insurance, tips for the crew and guide, and personal expenses.

The Galápagos is a year-round destination. The warm-wet season (December–May) brings calmer seas and warmer water for snorkeling. The cool-dry season (June–November) offers richer marine life and ideal conditions for wildlife observation.

Cormorant II is one of the most modern catamarans in the Galápagos, built in 2023 with energy-efficient generators, reduced fuel consumption thanks to its catamaran hull design, and strict onboard sustainability practices aligned with Galápagos National Park regulations.

All passengers need a valid passport (at least 6 months of validity). No specific vaccines are required for the Galápagos, though standard travel vaccinations are recommended. Visitors must complete the Galápagos biosafety form before arrival and pay the National Park entrance fee upon landing.
